Arthur Carrington started this firm in 1988 after five years roofing for someone else — someone who, in his words, "charged for craftsmanship and delivered bodges." His rule from day one was simple: treat every roof like it's keeping your own family dry.
Thirty-eight years later that rule hasn't changed. Dan took over in the 2000s, Sam joined as the third generation, and our crews are all directly employed — no agency labour, no subbies, no surprises. The same roofer who surveys your roof is accountable for what goes on it.
We've re-roofed Victorian terraces in Guildford, restored listed roofs in Farnham, chased storms across Surrey at 3am, and handed over more than 4,200 roofs with a written guarantee. We plan to be here for the fourth generation too.
